Culture Machine’s digital channel Blush created a new video titled, ‘#IMendMe’ featuring Avani Patel and her courageous journey of battling dejection and running a successful business. Avani Patel is a Marine biologist, budding triathlete
‘#IMendMe’ is Avani’s story who had the most liberated childhood and youth. We’re all conditioned to believe that one is safe and loved in a relationship but all that changes when one is systematically belittled and tormented. Freeing herself from the wrath of a troubled marriage, Avani realized that the only way she could come back to living a normal life was by channelizing her love and focus towards something she loved - running and traveling. Running gave her relief, cleared her mind and wanderlust built her confidence to explore the world and embrace life. Her sheer courage and grit helped her fight depression and embark on a journey of healing and happiness.
