महाराष्ट्राच्या कानाकोपऱ्यात लोकप्रिय झालेल्या संस्कृती कलादर्पण गौरव रजनी पुरस्कार सोहळ्याने यंदा सतराव्या वर्षात पदार्पण केले. रंगभूमी, चित्रपट आणि मालिका अशा तिन्ही विभागातील कलाकृतींचा आणि कलावंतांचा सन्मान करणा-या या पुरस्कार सोहळ्याचे रवींद्र नाट्य मंदिरात सालाबादप्रमाणे सिनेरसिकांच्या उदंड प्रतिसादात चित्रपट महोत्सवास प्रारंभ झाला. 'दशक्रिया' या चित्रपटाने या महोत्सवाची सुरुवात करण्यात आली, तत्पूर्वी मान्यवरांच्या हस्ते दीप प्रज्वलन करत या महोत्सवाचा श्रीगणेशा करण्यात आला.
यावर्षीच्या संस्कृती कलादर्पण गौरव रजनी पुरस्काराच्या चित्रपट विभागातील अंतिम निवड फेरीत एकूण ११ चित्रपटांची यादी जाहीर करण्यात आली, ज्यात घुमा, कासव, नाती खेल, माचीवरला बुधा, व्हेंटीलेटर, हाफ तिकीट, दशक्रिया, वजनदार, गुरु,
रंगभूमी, चित्रपट आणि मालिका अशा तिन्ही विभागातील कलाकृतींचा आणि कलावंतांचा सन्मान करणा-या या पुरस्कार सोहळ्यात सामान्य रसिकांना माफक ५० रुपये दरात हे चित्रपट पाहता येत आहेत, मात्र काही तांत्रिक कारणांमुळे गुरु, पोस्टर गर्ल आणि किरण कुलकर्णी वर्सेस किरण कुलकर्णी हे तीन चित्रपट या महोत्सवात दाखविले जाणार नाहीत. विशेष म्हणजे, या महोत्सवाच्या निमित्ताने रसिकांना महोत्सवामध्ये दाखविल्या जाणाऱ्या चित्रपटातील कलाकार मंडळींसोबत चित्रपट पाहण्याची सुवर्णसंधी मिळाली असून, परीक्षकांसोबत मतदान करण्याची संधी देखील प्राप्त झाली आहे.
यंदाच्या पुरस्कार सोहळ्यासाठी चित्रपट विभागांसाठी सन्माननीय परीक्षक म्हणून,मिलिंद गवळी, अमित भंडारी, रमेश मोरे, राजीव पार्सेकर, सुशांत शेलार आणि समृद्धी पोरे यांनी धुरा संभाळली असून, या सर्व मंडळींनी देखील महोत्सवाच्या उद्घाटन कार्यक्रमात विशेष उपस्थिती लावली होती. चित्रपट विभागात प्रथम येणाऱ्या कलाकृतीला बक्षीस रोख रक्कम दीड लाख रुपये बहाल केले जाणार असून, दोन्ही प्रमुख विभागातील संबंधित तसेच इतर सहाय्यक विभागातील विजेत्यांना संस्कृती कला दर्पण गौरव रजनीचे सन्मान चिन्ह देऊन गौरव केला जाणार असल्याचे, संस्थेचे अध्यक्ष आणि संस्थापक चंद्रशेखर सांडवे व अध्याक्षा अर्चना नेवरेकर यांनी सांगितले.
