Results from Semifinals of Hockey India 7th Senior National Championship 2017 (Women) ‘B’ Division

~ Hockey Rajasthan beat Hockey Madhya Bharat 5-1 ~
~ Hockey Him beat Hockey Coorg 6-0 ~
Rohtak, 21 April 2017: The semi finals of Hockey India 7th Senior National Championship 2017 (Women) ‘B’ Division were held today. Hockey Rajasthan took on Hockey Madhya Bharat in the first semi final, and Hockey Him took on Hockey Coorg in the second for a place in the finals. 
In the first game, Hockey Rajasthan produced a master class to defeat Hockey Madhya Bharat 5-1 and take their place in the finals. Braces from Situ Poonia (13’, 48’) and Raju Ranwa (20’, 57’) were enough for Hockey Rajasthan who dominated the game constantly and never allowed them any space for a comeback. Hockey Madhya Bharat’s lone goal was scored by Kratika Chandra in the 38th minute. 
In the second semi final, Hockey Him beat Hockey Coorg 6-0 to enter the final. Hockey Him started the scoring as early as the 4th minute with their captain Sarita giving them the lead. Sarita scored a hat trick (4’, 30’, 48’, 53') and was assisted by goals from Sharmila Devi (7’), Saroj (16’) in their victory.
Hockey Madhya Bharat will face Hockey Coorg in the 3rd-4th place match at 3:00 PMwhile Hockey Rajasthan will take on Hockey Him in the finals at 4:30 PM.
