Stockholm duo State of Sound has released their single “Love Me Like That” a track written by the duo themselves, Viktor Norénand Joakim Andrén
“We wrote ‘Love Me Like That’ in the middle of the cold and dark Swedish winter dreaming about sunshine, palm trees and endless summer nights. If a song is a party, then this is our vision of the ultimate afterparty. A feeling of no tomorrow, perfect romance and a cinematic ending at the beach watching the sunset,” State of Sounds says about the track.
“Love Me Like That” is the follow up single to the duo’s successful track “Wake Up Where You Are,”.
State of Sound members Viktor Norén and Joakim Andren met and became friends immediately in 2010 at a tequila party in their home of Stockholm, Sweden. With Viktor's background in the bands Sugarplum Fairy and Viktor & The Blood and solo adventure Viktorious and Joakim's past as tour musician and songwriter, it was a musical match made in heaven. After several years of bonding over music, Viktor and Joakim formed a vision and framework for their own musical project, which they named State of Sound. Their debut single "Higher Love" was released in January 2016 and the song quickly climbed the charts and was Gold certified in Sweden and now has over 14 million streams on Spotify.
