"AADIVASI MAKKA NANGA, AADIVASI MAKKA NANGA,KUMBUDA NANGA,KUMBUDA,,BHOOMINA NANGA KUMBUDA,SURYANA NANGA KUMBUDA,CHANDRANA NAGA KUMBUDA", This is tribal song. Madikeri was witnessed more than 500 tribal as well as folk artists with more than 24 tribal troupes from different part of the country and also state as well as local artists. It is 6th NATIONAL TRIBAL AND FOLK MUSIC DANCE FESTIVAL 2018 at Madikeri,Karnataka.
This festival unveiled the dance and music which near to nature unlike the modern art. The South Zone Cultural Centre,Thanjavur with coordination of All India Radio Madikeri organized the locall populares title RADIO HABBA (RADIO FESTIVAL) at Madikeri from 12th January 2018 to 14th January 2018.
Tribal trupes of Assam,Nagaland,Himachal Pradesh,Chattisgarh as well as Karnataka were get together in this fest. Since 2013 AIR Madikeri first time unveiled the cultural heritage/greatnee of tribal as well as Coorg orignals by organising KAADINA MAKKALA HABBA ( FESTIVAL OF CHILDREN OF FOREST).
This edition it given Paradi Dance of Hakki Pikiki tribe,Siddhi Dance,Gorukaana dance,Thamboori Music,Mullu Dance,Koral Dance and some Tribal Songs. It also exhibits Coorg's Jenu Kuruba Dance,Betta Kuruba Dance,Daal Dance, Male Dance,Soligarahaadi,Erava Dance,Parekottu Music,Baalo Paat,Ummathaat, Suggi Dance,Puthari Jogi Dance and Vaalaga.
AIR Madikeri gievn a live telecat on its facebook page,almost 19000 people saw this festival. Some of comments even came from northern part of India of live telecast. So as usual this time aslo we witnesse audience in large scale. It was a grans success of our team.
