AIR FM LRS Dharmapuri in its weekly interactive Live Phone-In Programme (Thagadur Thagval) broadcast on 17/01/2018 at 9 am invited Shri.R.Munusamy 74 years old a progressive Farmer of Kullanur Village of Dharmapuri District who has bagged the Best Farmer Award for 2017 for the higher yield with renewed cultivation of paddy crop. Shri. R.Munusamy says he owns 6 acres of land and he has been selected in a state-wide competiton for harvesting an yield of 3,637 kg of paddy in 50 cents and an overall yield of 18,185 kg of paddy in 1 acre of land and it is a record. It is worth to mention that he has retired as primary teacher from the state government. The listeners actively interacted with the guest and the conversation was down to earth in a lucid style.
