Zee TV’s popular fiction drama, Piyaa Albela has been engaging audiences with its intriguing storyline and interesting characters. As the show progresses, Naren (Akshay Mhatre) and Pooja’s (Sheen Das) relationship will take a drastic turn as the show is all set to take a leap where Naren will be seen donning the role of a politician and Pooja finding solace in the company of courtesans after she leaves the Vyas Mansion with Naren’s real mother, Chandrika (Jaya Binju).
Following the leap, Pooja will be seen moving out of the Vyas house and into Chandrika’s haveli. She will live amongst other courtesans and work towards educating them and teaching them subjects like English and Maths. Additionally, Pooja will also be seen in a completely different avatar, sporting elegant sarees and Indian wear. Her main motive, whilst living with the courtesans, will be to bridge the gap between Naren and his real mother Chandrika thereby bringing them closer.
Commenting on her look and character, Sheen said, “With Piyaa Albela’s storyline taking an interesting turn following the leap, Pooja’s character will undergo a dramatic change as she adopts a new way of living after she is separated from Naren. Post the leap, Pooja will be seen taking up additional responsibilities and focusing on her mission to unite Naren with his birth-mother Chandrika. The show and its intriguing storyline never ceases to surprise me and I am really looking forward to this exciting new storyline. Hope the audience will enjoy watching me in this new role.”
