Smt. Vijaya Agarwal retired Librarian Akkashvani Pune expired on 23.10.2018 at Pune. She served at AIR Pune from 1964 to 1995. She had visited Akashvani Pune few months ago at retired employees meet organised at the station and had blessed her junior colleagues.
A condolence meeting was organised at conference hall AIR Pune on 24.10.2018 where she was remembered for her outstanding contribution and a very dynamic and helping personality and 2 minute silence was observed to condole her demise.

स्वभाव खेळीमेळीचा असल्यामुळे सगळ्यांशी आपुलकीने वागत त्यांनी सर्वांना आपलंसं केलं. आपल्या स्मरणशक्तीच्या जोरावर आकाशवाणी पुणे केंद्राच्या कार्यक्रमांचे रेकॉर्डस्, टेप्स, कॅसेट्स याबाबत त्या माहिती सांगायच्या तसेच त्यांनी आकाशवाणीची संग्रहित माहिती जपून ठेवली.
आज त्या आपल्यात नाहीत... त्यांच्या आठवणी मात्र आकाशवाणीशी पुणे परिवाराच्या मनात कायमस्वरूपी असतील.
