"CONFESSION" dons a new race at Delhi Shorts International Film Festival 2017 Delhi, 27th October,2017: Confession, a 20 min short film of a teenage boy who discovers a new life before death written and directed by two friends Indresh Singh and Rishab Nayan. The film which has been nominated and will be screened in Delhi on Sunday along with 105 entries from all over the country at the 6th Delhi International Film Festival 2017. 'Confession', one of the shortlisted films, explores the reason behind suside and talks about the psychological matrix and torture faced by the youngsters in today's generation. The movie focuses on teenage boys who are same yet different in living a life with their own perspective. "The issue concerned us because we often see our friends going through extreme depression phase due to heart-break and at the same time people like us with some disorders are perusing the happiness within," says Indresh Singh, Director of the movie. Produced within a shoe-string budget from their own pocket, students from Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology, Delhi took up different roles to help them in making this film a great success. "With zero budget, less equipment and limited man power, we faced a lot of problems during the film making process, but standing here along with the other competitors is a moment of success itself," Says Writer and a Producer Rishab Nayan. The computer science engineers and director, Indresh Singh and Writer Rishab Nayan are creative thinker and filmmaker. With a conceptual minds aims to mark there feet in the film industry as a Director with an innovative concepts. The students are invited for the film festival on Sunday, 29th October, 2017 for the screening at Tivoli Grand Hotel & resort, Karnal road, Delhi together with other 105 Short film contestants. About DSIFF: 6th Delhi Shorts International Film Festival-2017 is meant to grow many folds. The inaugural year 2012 was a big success followed by super successful previous editions & enjoys the credibility of one of the most trusted short film festival of India. The festival was not only embraced by the short filmmaker’s but regarded by the media & industry members also. 6th DSIFF-17 is a unique platform here you can share, learn, showcase, observe & do many more thing to polish your creative & technical skills.
