During his session, he presented the case of how they are using Unity as a tool for developing Creativity, Innovation and Problem-Solving Skills among young learners as a part of STEAM based Education in Indian Schools. He also presented the benefits of 'GAME JAM' competitions to nurture Creative and Innovative Mindset among children, based on 4 successful National level competitions for kids which is Design Championship in association with NASSCOM Gaming Forum.
MindBox recently completed their 7-city Design Championship 2017 which saw an overwhelming response with 2300 entries from 270+ schools and 750+ online project submissions that met all criterion. This contest provided students a platform to develop skills like Design Thinking, Logic Development, problem-solving & decision-making, Critical Thinking, Experiential Learning, artistic literacy and Cognitive Thinking which were evaluated by leading industry experts. The most exciting part was that the winners of Game Design from each city got a chance to present their game at NASSCOM Game Developer Conference 2017 held recently in Hyderabad.
