~ Chief Guest at the Indian Television Academy Awards, Smriti Irani speaks volumes about the surging industry ~
While commemorating talent from the industry, Smriti Irani reminisced of her time as an actor. She mentioned that ‘Life had come a full circle’ because the first ever award she received as an actor was an ITA and now she was standing on stage as the chief guest. She also went on to say that it was the TV Industry that gave her an inroad to Politics; and hence was grateful to the fraternity for making her such a successful public figure.
As an end remark, she mentioned that TV has become a large platform to reach out to people with unique stories and touch their lives; how Television has left a mark on the entertainment industry and is now a force to reckon with.
