Wonder Cement celebrates Mines Safety, Cleanliness & Silicosis Awareness Week 2017

Chittorgarh, 14th November 2017: “Can we retrieve our lovely city and restore it to what it was?” Of course! Says, “Mines department of Wonder Cement Ltd” who celebrated the Awareness Week on Safety, Cleanliness & Silicosis. The event was celebrated under the guidance of Director General of Mines Safety (DGMS), Udaipur. An inspection team was appointed by DGMS which visited Wonder Cement Limited mines and analysed various aspects of mines safety, cleanliness & preventive health measures.

The closing ceremony was organized on 1^st November 2017. M. K. Bokadia (AVP-Mines) warmly greeted all the guests present at the occasionand shared Wonder Cement’s ways of maintaining safety and cleanliness round the clock. S. M. Joshi (President-Works) explained the need of safety at work place and ways to safeguard ourselves from silicosis disease. He reiterated the commitment of Wonder Cement in maintaining higher standards for better health, safety & clean environment.

Ashok Acharya (GM – Mines) shared STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES followed by Wonder Cement for Safety & cleanliness. The Winners of various activities and competition which were organised during this week were felicitated at the closing ceremony.  Led by theinspection team, oath for safety & cleanliness was taken by all guests present and the ceremony was concluded with a vote of thanks.
