21st May 2017 Mumbai: It was a lovely evening at the Lalit Mumbai as a bevy of beauties from across India, Dubai and USA competed for the crown at the grand finale of the coveted Mrs. India International pageant in a closely fought contest.
From a list of 18 participants, Mrs Neetu Prabhakar won the pageant and Radhika Sharma emerged as the first runner up. There was a tie in the second runner up position and the two ladies were Mrs Jyoti Dave and Mrs Khushbu Jani. The winner will get an opportunity to represent Indian at the Mrs. International contest held in USA.
“It’s not an easy place to walk; we could see the participants having so much zeal and enthusiasm and the support of their families. You could witness sheer dedication and hard work which is commendable with the contestants balancing so many roles.” Said Manav Sarin. I was spell bound when the contestants from diverse walks of like physician, advocate, yoga expert, public speaker, etc narrated their journey to the finale.” Said actor Sharhaan Singh who is soon to be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’ and has been a household face in Indian Television. “I was a coach at the grooming sessions and it was a good experience to be part of this property” added Himanshoo Malhotra . “The Mrs. International series began 24 years ago, in Atlanta, Georgia, US. It was developed under higher standards than other pageant systems; we at Carnival Entertainment are proud to present this property in India and Dubai.
