After wowing the audience with its first motion poster in India, Yeh Hai India is now making a stir at Cannes 2017. The 70th annual Cannes Film Festival is currently taking place from 17th to 28th May 2017, in Cannes, France.
Yeh Hai India stars Gavie Chahal, Deana Uppal, Mohan Agashe and Mohan Joshi in the lead roles. The movie is written and directed by Lomharsh. It is produced by Sandeep Choudhary under the banner of DLB Films Pvt. Ltd. Yeh Hai India is a story of 26 year old NRI, who comes to India with stereotypical views about the country and how his perception changes.
Lomharsh is an Indo Australian film maker. While Yeh Hai India is the first movie directed by him but he is no stranger to film-making having worked on international projects in Australia as well as on several International documentaries.
Talking about the development, Lomharsh said, “Y eh Hai India is a movie about the whole country and we are extremely proud that it is getting noticed and appreciated.”
The producer Sandeep Choudhary says, “We are very proud of the journey that we have covered with Yeh Hai India so far and we are looking forward to have a good run at the box office too.”
Gavie Chahal, the actor of the movie, “As an actor it gives me immense satisfaction to essay different kinds of roles and with Yeh Hai India, I got an opportunity to not only expand my horizon as an actor but even as an individual. I am really proud to be associated with Yeh Hai India and getting to Cannes is like the icing on the cake.”
Yeh Hai India will be releasing in a theatre near you in Summer of 2017
