Shreyas Talpade shared his #MeBeforeYou story with Romedy NOW which is very close to his heart and something which not everyone knows about. He says,“Everybody knows, that you know, Iqbal , my film was turning point in my career, but not many people are aware of the fact that, you know, it was thanks to my wife Deepti that I could do the film. There came a point before, when I was selected for the film and there was a time that due to certain things I was not able to the films and I had almost said no to that film and because I was getting married and the shoot was supposed to start immediately the next day after we got married. Though I had infact said that I probably won’t be able to do it but it was thanks to Deepti. When she got to know about It, she said that these kinda opportunities don’t knock everyday and when they do, we shouldn’t be saying no to them. She was the one who literally pushed me towards it, she was the one who kept encouraging me, and I guess, its also very difficult for a girl to get married and not be there with her husband for the next 2-3 months, whatsoever, so I guess as much as the success is mine, I guess I would like to dedicate the success and the credit to my wife Deepti as well. I guess you need to have a good life partner to make sure that you enjoy that success and somewhere you even get that kinda success. So as much as I wanna thank Nagesh for the film, I also wanna thank Deepti for making sure that I was a part of that film.”
