As part of the celebration of “Paryatan Parv” which is being organised across the country from 5th to 25th October,2017 a “Yoga Demonstration” was organized by Indiatourism, Mumbai and Kaivalyadham (Yoga Institute) at Churchgate Railway Station, Mumbai today . Millions of city dwellers residing in the suburbs alight at this station to get to their offices in the business districts of south Mumbai. During the morning peak hours, it is one of the busiest Railway Stations of Mumbai for office goers.
The Yoga Demonstration took place in the morning and there were over 10 Yoga Demonstrators who demonstrated the “Common Yoga Protocol” as per the department of AYUSH, Govt. of India to hundreds of travellers embarking and disembarking from the Station. Few of the onlookers actively stood by to see and understand each of the ‘Asanas’ which were being demonstrated and being explained. The group of young men and women Yoga Demonstrators invited a lot of interest and attraction of the passengers and onlookers.
