With this launch, FundsIndia becomes the first online mutual fund distribution platform to enable its clients with this feature, to abide by government guidelines.

As per government rules, all mutual fund and equity investors have to link their Aadhaar number to their investment accounts (with all fund houses) by 31st December 2017. Failing to do so, will result in their accounts becoming non-operational. Now, with FundsIndia’s easy Aadhaar linking feature, customers will be able to link their Aadhaar with all the fund houses they have investments with, through FundsIndia. It eliminates the inconvenience of linking their Aadhaar number individually with AMCs or RTAs.
