Babul Gupta from Kolkata logged a new FM station from Myanmar, Federal FM Radio on 90.2 MHz on 31st March'2021.
It seems a new FM station has been launched in Myanmar - Federal FM Radio, 90.2 MHz on 27th March 2021 at 9:00 AM Yangon time.
Federal FM Radio, an unlicensed radio station went live on 27th March, 2021 at 90.2 MHz. Its targeted broadcasting days are on Thursdays and Sundays. It aims to inform audiences about events throughout the country while educating listeners about federalism – that is, having a national and state government, as opposed to authoritarian, military rule.
Earlier, Myanmar's Military Council announced revoking licenses of five independent media companies, Myanmar Now, Khit Thit media, Democratic Voice of Burma (DVB), Mizzima, and 7 Day. DVB, Mizzima and 7 Day are VOA affiliates.
