Star Movies Select HD continues its journey to showcase its promise of curation with a film festival-Films To See Before You Die starting tonight at 9pm every weekday. Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas is considered to be one of the greats in the genre of gangster films, it comes as no surpsie that the film will begin Star Movies Select HD’s awaited film festival.
Upon release in 1990 it was a critical and box office success and continues to be considered among the best films in cinema history. The film was nominated for Six Academy Awards and even earned an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor by actor Joe Pesci.

A truly classic mobster film, it portrayed an accurate picture of the ruthlessness of mobster life which is different from the other mafia movies made before.
