Actress Payal Ghosh to make her bollywood debut

Payal Ghosh is an Indian film actress who has predominantly acted in Telugu films. Her first foray into Indian cinema was with 'Prayanam' (2009) a Telugu movie just after her stint in 'Sharpe's Peril' a BBC tele film which was a period drama based on the life of an English soldier named Richard Sharpe. In the next 3 years Payal garnered several titles under her credit with films like Mr Rascal and Oosaravelli. She also acted in a Kannada film titled Varshadhare. Payal starred in a Canadian film in which she played a school girl in love with her neighbour's servant.
The actress is now set to make her grand Bollywood debut in the film 'Patel ki Punjabi shaadi' directed by Sanjay Chhel. The movie is a cross cultural comedy starring veteran actors like Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Prem Chopra, also featuring famous actor and comedian Vir Das. Payal plays the lead actress in the film as Paresh Rawal's Gujarati daughter who falls in love with a Punjabi boy (Vir Das). Her acting has been highly appreciated in the south. This movie being her big ticket in bollywood, Payal is all set to bring her freshness and grace in the hindi film industry too.
