With six different sessions held over three days at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, the second edition of the Cosmopolitan Beauty Weekend was a roaring success.
The Cosmopolitan Beauty Weekend—an exclusive, by-invite only event—saw some of the country’s biggest beauty brands come together for a three-day event held at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. With over 200 people in attendance, including influencers, bloggers, and Delhi’s most stylish set, the return of the Cosmopolitan Beauty Weekend was, well, beautiful (excuse the pun).
The Beauty Weekend kick started with a session with dermatologist, Dr Geetika Mittal Gupta, Founder of Isaac Wellness, where she spoke about all the latest anti-ageing treatments to turn back the clock. The event saw the likes of Raseel Gujral Ansal, Charu Parashar, Harmeet Bajaj, Anupama Dayal, Payal Jain and others.
Day two began with the Pond’s BB Cream, Back-To-Basics lunch—which was all about the Pond’s BB+ Cream, a great multi-tasker that not just gives you coverage but also corrects spots and protects from harmful UV rays. Celebrity Cosmetic Dermatologist, Dr Rashmi Shetty, conducted a beauty masterclass and spoke about SPF, BB Creams, and the secrets to achieving flawless skin.
Next up: the Cosmo and O.P.I cocktail party. Cosmo invited four influencers on board as panelists—including Cosmo Ed Nandini Bhalla, designer Pia Pauro, anchor Ambika Anand, and actor Vidushi Mehra—to pick out their favourite O.P.I shades, which were displayed at the party. Guests took photographs around the giant O.P.I Big Apple Red bottle, and headed to the nail bars to treat themselves to manicures.
The final day of the Cosmopolitan Beauty Weekend witnessed three sessions. For Organic Harvest, Cosmo built an authentic Farmer’s Market, around fresh, organic produce. And each basket with corn or oranges or beetroot sat next to an Organic Harvest product with the same ideas. At the entrance, bloggers and Cosmo influencers were handed a shopping bag and asked to 'shop' away to their heart's content. The idea was to get the beauty junkies acquainted with the brand that only uses organic ingredients.
The second session for the day was the Cosmo x VI-John Beach Party that celebrated the brand’s newest range of Feather Touch Hair Removal Creams. Bloggers were handed a personalised boarding pass at the entrance, and then given a 'holiday kit' that contained Vi-Jon's new travel-size Feather Touch Hair Removal Creams, a world map, and a swimsuit. Next, they were taken to the DIY swimsuit corner, where artists personalised their swimsuits with initials. Plus, there was sangria floating around and a fun photo booth with pool chairs, inflatable tubes, and palm trees.
The Cosmo Beauty Weekend concluded with an elegant, English-style high-tea with Palmer’s, with 6 courses—3 of those courses were actual Palmer's products, served by the waiters, and the others were scones, cookies, and finger sandwiches. Additionally, there was an illusionist who went from blogger to blogger, and amazed them with his magic tricks.
The Cosmo Beauty Weekend is a Cosmopolitan India property that brings together the most influential beauty brands with key influencers and buyers. If there were ever a mecca for beauty junkies, this is it.
