Mumbai is all set to witness The World’s first ever Silent Garba in combo with Live Garba at Rajmahal Silent Garba from 21st Sept to 1stOct, truly it’s going to be Navratri Allratri...!!
Ms. AboliAmbardekar, Director, Rajmahal Banquets shares, "We wanted to offer something un-conventional for the dandia enthusiasts this year and what better than Silent Dandia. The event supports prevention of sound pollution, by having all the cultural activities intact. Part of the proceeds will also be donated to deaf school children".
She further adds, "In sync with the conventional festivities, Live experienced performers are also invited from various parts of Gujarat for AUTHENTIC GARBA feel. Artists for live band include the celebrated folk singer Kishordaan Gadhavi, from Gadhvi house, who holds a world record in having almost 4.45 Crs of money showered at his performance in the past. Also supporting him will be Sonu Barot, Nathudan Gadhavi, Pallavi Patel, Kuldeep Gadhavi, Gayatri Patel and Jyoti Vaniya. The Live Garba will be held from 7.30 to 10pmdaily. The real fun begins post 10pm when one can put on the headphones and enjoy Silent garba till 2am at midnight without breaking any rules. The Headphones will have 3 tracks to choose and one can switch to the track you like and dance. 3 sound tracks will have 3 different types of music. Eg. Bollywood garba songs, Authentic Gujarati garba songs and fusion tracks, etc”.
The Headphones will be provided at the venue alongwith complimentary food to all attendees will be served Indoor in the AC banquets having a capacity of 1200 people. The headphones are sourced in association with Vaktra Activation Pvt. Ltd. Each day the event also boasts of Exciting prizes for best dancers, best costumes and many more categories. Priced at 1500/- the organizers are also offering season passes and group discounts.
