“Dr. Shankar Shesh Mahostav” a tribute to Dr. Shanker Shesh, pioneer in Hindi original play-writer On 28th & 29th October 2017 at Sathe College Auditorium, Mumbai

Mumbai: Dr. Sankar Shesh – A name that is considered as one of greatest Hindi play writer of the century who has written 22 outstanding and most thought provoking, message oriented plays in Hindi and 10 novels  is relevant even todays so called the Technological world. Dr. Shankar Shesh during his life-time has received two nominations for the prestigious Filmfare Award. The first one for highly appreciated hindi classic film “Gharonda” and second for a widely appreciated Hindi feature film “Dooriyan”, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Story.
Dr. Shankar Shesh Foundation will be hosting an annual two-day Hindi Drama festival “Dr. Shankar Shesh Mahostav” on 28th & 29th October 2017 at Sathe College Auditorium, Mumbai. The festival will showcase four of its best Hindi plays written by late-Dr. Shankar Shesh, and those arePoster, Ek Aur Dronacharya, Naye Sab yata Naye Namune, and Komal Gandhar.
Dr Shankar Shesh Foundation was founded by his son Mr. Sanjay Shesh, who has been relentlessly working towards keeping the glory of Dr. Sankar Shesh ideological concept that will help the society in understanding the complexity of mankind. Speaking on the occasion he said, “Our aim for the foundation is to create a support system for up-coming young, talented Hindi play writers in India.”
The “Dr. Shankar Shesh Mahostav” will be graced by many celebrated personalities from Film and Drama Industry.
