Infiniti Mall, Malad in association with The Street Store (TSS) had put up a kiosk at the mall premises allowing the mall patrons to donate their unused clothes, shoes and accessories. More than 150 customers donated whole heartedly at the Kiosk and helped TSS make a difference to more than thousands of underprivileged kids. This year, TSS organized their second Street Store just before Diwali at a location in Goregaon on the Street and helped 3000 kids to get the clothes.
The Street Store is the world’s first rent-free, premises-free, cost- free pop-up clothing store for the underprivileged. Launched in 2014, The Street Store initiative has been conducted across 33 cities in the world and has impacted numerous lives. TSS serves as a platform for underprivileged people to receive donations in a dignified manner, and gives them the power to choose.
