~Sony MAX2 engaged and entertained families as it concluded the hunt for Delhi’s ‘Sabse Filmy Family’~
Delhi, 16th October, 2017: Sony MAX2, India’s iconic Hindi movie channel from Sony Pictures Networks brought its unique initiative, ‘Film, Family aur Fun’ to a close with its grand finale on 14th October atMavalankar Auditorium, Rafi Marg, Connaught Place in Delhi. This outdoor activation that commenced across various clusters in Delhi on 11th September to find the No. 1 Filmy Family of Delhi gave families a chance to take out time from their busy schedule and bond as they participated in fun- filled activities. The finale saw ace choreographers- Pooja Arya and Kapil Kumar give away the coveted title of ‘Sabse Filmy Family’ to Nikunj family (Saurabh Nikunj Sharma and Paridhi Nikunj Sharma).
After 4 fun filled weeks and more than 900 families participating, Sony MAX2 shortlisted 19 families, who were invited to participate and win in a filmy way at the grand finale held on 14th October. This outdoor activation invited families from eight regions in Delhi- Rajouri Garden, Dwarka, Saket, Lajpat Nagar, Anand Vihar, Shahdra, Shalimar Bagh and Rohini. Staying true to its brand proposition, ‘Kuch Filmon ka jaadu kabhi kam nahi hota’, MAX2 enabled the participants to relive the golden era of Bollywood by giving them a platform where they could act, sing and dance and bring out their filminess along with their families. To create noise around this property and engage the people of Delhi, the channel promoted the property in prominent locations around the capital city through banners, posters, leaflets and newspaper inserts. Inviting families across various clusters to participate, Sony MAX2 branded open air vans and autos moved around the city, making announcements about ‘Film, family and fun’ urging families to be a part of the filmy frenzy.
The finale was nothing less than a magnanimous Bollywood event full of music, fun, exciting games and a dose of Hindi cinema with RJ Naved entertaining the audience while ace choreographers- Pooja Arya and Kapil Kumar judged the families at the grand finale. In order to engage the audience and provide them with an overwhelming experience, caricature, hair braiding and nail art artists were present at the venue. The grand finale was conclude with performances by shortlisted families. Taking their shot at fame, the Nikunj Sharma family was gratified with a cash prize of 1 lac with the 1st runners’ up Ali Khan family and 2ndrunners’ up Grover and Handa family being awarded with an additional cash prize each.
