In this difficult situation Akashvani is playing a major role for awareing the people, informing the people and entertaining them and also updating them.
At this station with the implementation of Lockdown, AO and other admin staff is coming to office to meet out any urgent work. Programmes of NSD and VBS are being relayed, HOP is making opening and closing announcements. Programme activities are started from today under local window opening and programmes are being recorded on phone-in/mobile.
Engineering staff in this hour of need, are performing double and/or triple shift duties so that they can be given brakes for isolation, other supportive staff such as drivers, MTS, Safaiwala, gate man are also coming regularly. About 80% of this on duty staff is above 50 years and they do have some or other health related problems viz. sugar, high BP, etc., they also have family to care but they are performing their duties without making any excuses. They are the real flag bearer and are the real Foundation stone of our department. Hats off to them. It is also mentioned all the necessary precautions are being taken care of, necessary hypo spray is being done, sanitizer and soap are being provided.
