Shri Shivaji Fulsundar, Deputy Director General &HOO Doordarshan Mumbai, is retiring on 30.06.2017, after an illustrious service from DDK, Mumbai. He is also holding an additional charge of the Additional Director General (WZ), Doordarshan.
He is from a Farmers family, had his schooling from Hindmata Vidyalaya, Vadgaon(Kandali) a small village in Pune(Maharashtra) and graduation from College of Agril.Pune, MPKV, Rahuri (Maharashtra). Immediately after graduation he joined Doordarshan Mumbai as Producer Gr II as a Direct recruit & subsequently promoted as Asst. Director & Dy. Director (Prog.). During his Tenure at DDK, Mumbai he has done productions of a varied spectrum at the state, National & International level.Shri Shivaji Fulsundar has also worked as I/C Marketing Division, Prasar Bharati, Mumbai bet. Nov.2006 & March 2011 where under his leadership, the division was a Recipient of DD Awards for "Excellence in Marketing of Indo-Pakistan Cricket Series in 2007."
During his tenure at DDK, Ahmedabad as Head of Prog. & latter on as Dy. Director General(P) bet. April 2011 &September 2014, there was a complete resurgence at the Kendra with the same team with regards to the Prog. Content, Revenue Generation & popularity of the channel. DDK Ahmedabad has been awarded with the National Media Award for DDGirnar by Election Commission of India in January-2014 from President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee, received by him as a Team Leader for "the Campaign on Voters Education & Awareness during the General Elections to State Assembly of Gujarat in 2012".
His Major Contribution has been in Planning & launch of DD Kisan on May 26th 2015 in Delhi by Hon. PM of India, the dream Project of NDA Govt.

The Documentary "GREEN GOLD" on Environmental Awareness which was initially Produced for SAARC Telecast, received an Honorary Mention at EKOFILM'89 International Film Festival at Czechoslovakia. It was great Honor to Doordarshan India.
