All India Radio in collaboration with Ministry of Agriculture Co-operation and farmers welfare is going to organize two days workshop on 29th and 30th of June 2017 at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Sciences and technology , Chatha, Jammu in coordination with Radio Kashmir Jammu on " Impact assessment and capacity building workshops" exclusively for the producers of Kisanvani programmes of various All India Radio Stations . This workshop is part of 5 two days workshops to be conducted at different locations in the country.
19 producers of Kisanvani from the Northern States of India will be participating to pave out the passage for the Govt. of India's initiative for the stake holders for doubling Farm Income by 2022.Sh. Sanjay Banerjee,Photo officer, MM/JD Department of Agriculture Co-operation and farmers Welfare, Govt. of India, the officers from Directorate General,All India Radio Sh. H.K. Pani OSD(P), Sh. M.K. Sharma, Asstt. Director of Programmes(F&H), Sh. Vijender Sajwan Prog. Executive (F&H) would sensitize the participants on effective programming.
The Vice Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Sciences and technology, Jammu will inaugurate the said workshop followed by the welcome address by Ms. Anjali Sharma, Head of office Radio Kashmir Jammu. Besides the representations of officials from the Agriculture Ministry ,Regional Subject matter/Agro industry expert ,Agriculture Scientist, Agro Meteorologist from IMD,State Agriculture Department/District Administration officials ,NIC Scientists ,IT experts, Progressive farmers will be part of the workshop.
The two days workshop is being co-ordinated by Sh.S.K. Malhotra Programme Executive(F&H) Radio Kashmir Jammu.
