Launching of New Science odyssey Film National Parks Adventure


Mumbai, August 10, 2017 
Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai has launched the new exciting science odyssey film“America Wild: National Parks Adventure.”  This film was voted best giant screen film of the year and won best film- short subject, 2016 GSCA achievement award.  This film is directed by Mr. Greg Macgillivray. Mr. Greg Macgillivray launched the film and also spoke to the Indian audience about his film making experience related to the America Wild : National Parks Adventure ( via Skype) at the centre. He talked about his very early connection with film making and how he has developed interest for making giant screen films.  He also spoke about his experiences of film making in Jaipur and Agra.   He discussed how an idea of making a film on America’s National Parks came on the occasion of 100 years of national parks in USA.  One of the goals of National Parks Adventure film is to get students excited about nature and inspire them to reconnect with nature more often.
This film is acclaimed filmmaker Greg MacGillivray’s most visually ambitious giant-screen film to date,  a film that offers not only a sweeping overview of the national parks history, but in equal parts adrenaline-pumping odyssey and soulful reflection on what the wilderness means to us all.  This film also matches this year’s UN International Year of Sustainable Tourism Development theme.
