Hindi Divas was celebrated in Kashmir University by PG Dept of Hindi in its seminar Hall today where scholers,researchrs & Hindi language lovers delibrated upon with lot of enthusiaism & devotion.Dr.Rafeeq Masoodi former Addl.Director General Doordarshan & known Hindi researcher & translator was the chief Guest on the occasion.Dr.Masoodi in his address stressed the need to form strategies to make Hindi Language of masses for which it will have to vasten its chest to absorb words ftom other languages.Dr.Ruby Zutshi from the faculty stressed the need of making Hindi job -oriented.Dr.Zahida Head Of The Deptt thanked the guests & assured that department will continue to organise such events to popularise language.
In second session competitions in creative writing, extempore speeches,Quiz & talent hunt exercise was held in which prizes were given to all winers.
