Dishum Broadcasting Private Limited, which has successfully launched the Bhojpuri GEC “Bhojpuri Dhamaka – DISHUM” has bolstered its management and announced the appointment of Partha Dey as the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Based out of Mumbai, Partha going forward will spearhead Dishum’s ambitious plans of transforming the Bhojpuri Entertainment landscape and becoming the channel of choice for Bhojpuri speakers across the globe.
His portfolio shall include all broadcasting operations including Programming, OAP, Consumer Research & Branded Content.
Partha Dey will report into the board of directors of Dishum Broadcasting Pvt Ltd.

Prior to the role, Partha had 2 years stint as a Senior Vice President with Reliance Broadcasting Network Limited (RBNL’s) Bhojpuri GEC- Big Ganga.
A documentary filmmaker by profession, Partha has over 20 years of experience in broadcasting media as a producer, director and creative director. He has helped launch/led successful Bhojpuri brands including Mahuaa, Dangal, Bhojpuri Cinema, and Big Ganga. He has also produced and directed several documentaries, features and programming software for various agencies like the Indian Air force, ARC RAW, OHM- Holland and Doordarshan.
