Yes, all the lovebirds are getting to live their Anushka and Ranbir moment of 'The break up' song with headphones in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil..! Garba and dandiya have always been full of fun and energy and dancing with headphones has surely helped to increase the excitement around this festival. Mumbai witnessed World’s first ever Silent Garba in combo with Live Garba at Rajmahal Silent Garba at Malad this year. Now owing to the excitement amongst Mumbaikars, the organizers have slashed the rates for finale days of Navratri at much affordable cost of Rs. 800, and yes the happiness continues till 1st Oct 2107, getting one more weekend of the silent storm.
For the Silent Garba which starts at 11pm, Headphones with colour coding are provided to everyone after the 10 pm deadline to allow avid dandiya and garba fans to continue the festivity past the allotted time. The headphones provided by the organisers have three track options viz. Gujarati folk song, Bollywood Garba and Fusion tracks to choose from. “Each headphone has all these tracks which are assigned a light of a different colour. People or groups who want to play dandiya together can tune into the same track by identifying and coordinate the colour and come together for it,” shares 25 year old Aboli Anand, director of Rajmahal Banquets and the brainchild of Silent Garba in Mumbai. She further adds, “We so want more and more people to experience this concept and have fun while abiding the law”.
