Megha Patil nets 2 in Dhule’s easy win
Mumbai, April 20: Megha Patil struck once on either side of the break to steer Dhule District Football Association to a fluent 2-0 win against Ahmednagar DFA in a league match of the WIFA Inter-District Women Football Championship, hosted by the Nashik DFA on Friday.
The dashing striker Megha scored the first goal in the 24th minute as Dhule went into the break with a 1-0 half-time lead. Megha was again on target scoring the second immediately on resumption to complete the margin of victory.
In the second match, Aurangabad DFA and Sangli DFA played out goalless draw.
Results: Aurangabad DFA 0 drew with Sangli DFA 0.
