November 12th is celebrated as Public Service Broadcasting day in the memory of the first and only visit by Mahatma Gandhi to All India Radio.
This year Broadcasting Engineers Society(India), and All India Radio Pune together is celebrating " Public Broadcasting day" at Akashwani Auditorium,Shivajinager Pune with youth especially the budding journalists, and students from Mass Media by organising an "Short Documentary /Feature" competition on 12th Nov 2016 at 10 am and an Expert Panel Discussion on Role of Media as a Public Broadcaster.
