All India, May 4, 2017: The hot summer concert line-up in Israel just got hotter, with the announcements that Britney Spears, Pet Shop Boys and Tom Jones will each have concerts.
Britney Spears will visit Israel for the first time this summer as she performs in Tel Aviv’s HaYarkon Park on July 3. Within the first day of the tickets being sold, more than 15,000 tickets were purchased. Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning pop icon, Britney has sold close to 150 million records worldwide.
Tom Jones is scheduled to perform at Tel Aviv’s Menorah Arena on June 28th. This will be his third visit to Israel. The last time he performed was in 2013. Tom Jones, who is now 76 years old, has sold over 100 million records over the past 50 years and is known for his hits “It’s Not Unusual”, “What’s New Pussycat”, “Delilah”. In the 1990s he gained a new fan base when he released Reload, an album of cover duets with artists such as Robbie Williams and Stereophonics.
British electro-pop duo Pet Shop Boys (Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe) have also announced their concert at Hayarkon Park in Tel Aviv on June 10 as part of Tel Aviv’s Pride Week and their Super World Tour. The band has performed in Israel on three occasions, in 1999, 2009 and 2013.
