Shri Debendra Nath Basumatari, Additional Director General (P), All India Radio & Doordarshan, NER, Guwahati retired on superannuation on 30.04.2017. Shri Basumathari was a very active officer and an excellent administrator. He is a widely renowned name in Assam and received many awards and accolades including the prestigious ERDF Excellence Award 2015 by the ERDF Foundation & University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya.
