Rains bring in happiness but it has a side effect not only on Indian roads and traffic but also on us, human beings. Viral fevers, cold, cough, throat infection and what not start surfacing. And actors too are prone to it but what has happened on Nivedita Basu’s Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi sets is a little unusual. Couple of weeks back the marathon of fever and throat infection commenced with one of the actresses Latika Gill and since then there has been no looking back. Our source reveals, “One after another the cast and crew have been victims to fever and throat infection including the lead actor Abhishek Malik, Sneha Gupta, Rehaan Roy, producer Nivedita Basu, herself and many of the technicians and crew members. It is strange and very weird but at the same time we can feel the pain of each other and the trouble we are going through. We joke around, that we certainly are one big family, together in happy times or not, but certainly together in these hard times. Working for a daily soap doesn’t give you the liberty to take holidays as the episodes have to come out every day, so all of us are hopeful that we get well soon.” Nivedita Basu confirmed, "People who think of the show as their own show, I respect them and I think these are the kind of passionate people television should have. I am happy and proud that the entire cast and crew continued to shoot and we were able to deliver good episodes.” Well, that’s sad of course and we hope for a speedy recovery for the entire cast and crew.
