Founder of Stepathlon invited to speak at Mass Participation Asia 2017

Ravi Krishnan, Co-founder and CEO, Stepathlon Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd., has been invited to participate in Mass Participation Asia (MPA) 2017 – a first-of-its-kind forum in the Asian region for participants from all sectors of the mass participation sports events industry.
As a panelist for the discussion titled, ‘Where is the Next Generation of Consumers Coming From?’, Ravi will highlight the relevance of mass participation for kids to their overall wellbeing. He will also throw light on the opportunities and challenges of targeting the future generation of participants.
The theme for this year’s conference which is to be held between 3th – 4th April 2017 in Bangkok, is ‘Inspiration from Beyond Mass Participation’ and will feature several speakers from across industries - including other sectors beyond sports.
Ravi is the only Indian panelist at MPA recognizing the impact of Stepathlon’s ‘Sports Marketing Approach’ to well-being, through it’s Race around a ‘Virtual World’.
Ravi has been awarded the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year in Service Business – Fitness’ at the 5th edition of the Entrepreneur India 2015 Awards. He was also featured in Sports Illustrated at No. 27 in the 50 Most Influential People (2010) in Indian Sports, and in Business Today (2004) as one of India’s Top 25 Executives under the age of 40.
With key objectives of fostering collaboration and driving best practices, the MPA platform has already attracted diverse thought leaders (Victor Cui, ONE; Neil Stewart, Facebook; and Josh Black, GroupM Content to name a few) to share their insights and trends in their respective industries.
Commenting on his participation, Ravi Krishnan said, “I am honoured to be part of Mass Participation Asia 2017. Events like MPA are ideal platforms which bring together, the best in the business, to share their thoughts on creating a better tomorrow”.
“The mass participation industry, in India, has grown enormously in recent years across multiple formats. The country is fast emerging as a key player and we are delighted to have an industry pioneer, in Ravi Krishnan, as part of the grassroots panel to share his insights into engaging with the next generation of participants via Stepathlon Kids. There is no doubt that the innovation and success of Stepathlon, in India, can be migrated to other markets across the region and globe,” said Chris Robb, Founder and CEO of Mass Participation Asia.
