In a brief interaction with the cast and crew of "BLUE MOUNTAINS" at their trailer launch, it was learnt that their film was shot in adverse weather conditions in Shimla and its vicinity and the whole crew had faced amusing challenges when shooting.
Mr.Suman Ganguli, Writer-Director of "Blue Mountains" laughs and narrates that at the temperature of under minus 5 degrees, "it was difficult to wake up kids and get them out of the coziness of their beds to freezing windy locations."he further recalls, " Rajpal Yadav was shown half pants only, as his costume one chilly evening, and he thought we were joking, but he stood up with a start when he learnt we were serious but he was still a sport in bearing with the weather and even ran uphill knee deep in snow where it's difficult to take each step. Which reminds him of how their shoot got delayed because of false weather alarms and when they reached the city expecting snowfall, there was no snow, twice! And they had to return to Mumbai to come again."
In another turn of events they had to shoot with Gracy Singh in Mumbai heat but she had to appear as though as she was in Shimla so she was made to appear as though she's wearing warmers beneath to match to her looks when she was shooting for the film in Shimla. Above all, the whole cast and crew have given their best and dedicated themselves to complete the film from learning how to ride a cycle to running on the snowy slopes.
The hardwork behind this multiple award winning masterpiece made under the banner of Krish Movies stars Ranvir Shorey, Gracy Singh, Rajpal Yadav and Yatharth Ratnum is set to hit the screen on 7th of April, 2017.
