Mumbai, 18th March 2017: No form of expression touches your soul the way Hindustani music does. India has been blessed with some of the most talented musicians who've touched a million lives with their music. Raagreet being a charitable trust formed to promote classical music and musicians, believes in returning back to the society. With an attempt to raise funds for the girl child education and providing financial aid to critically ill musicians, Raagreet has come up with a 2 day musical extravaganza at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi on 17th & 18th March 2017.
The event started with the melodious voice of Sanchaita Ghoshal who sang the raag Pooriya Dhanshri. Ghoshal was accompanied by Pandit Brij Narayan, Sarod Maestro from Maihar Gharana, a leading sarod player of the country who has been at the forefront for well over three decades. Ustad Liyakat Ali, a renowned Sarangi Maestro from Jaipur/Seekar Gharana, Mr. Milind Raikar, renowned young Violinist of Jaipur Atrauli Gharana and Sanchaita Ghoshal, Hindustani classical vocalist was accompanied by Pandit Kalinath Mishra on tabla.

Raagreet is an organization formed a year and a half ago, committed towards the promotion of classical music and musicians in the categories of Grand Masters, Masters, Young Masters, Senior Artists and Artists (descending order). The artists can upload their music on the site to reach out to the music lovers world over, they can keep track of their download and the sales, have control over their business and their presentation. Apart from their virtual world presence, the artists are also given an opportunity to play at music concerts as well to make their presence felt in the real world. The mission of Raagreet is to present artists who are trained by the masters of each Gharana (school) as per the discipline and tradition of the Gharanas, to the worldwide audience.
