Fitness diva Shilpa Shetty Kundra and celebrity nutritionist Pooja Makhija came together on a breakfast date to launch Saffola Multigrain Flakes! They shared their nutrition know-how on the goodness of five grains over the single grain of cornflakes, making it #TheBetterFlakes for a better breakfast.
The most important meal of the day is mostly sidelined because of the busy mornings where you have to head on to a morning meeting or get your children ready for school. But no more, Shilpa Shetty has a tip for you to make sure you have a healthy start.
Emphasizing on the importance of a healthy breakfast, Shilpa Shetty Kundra who herself is a working mother shared tips for the working ladies. She said, “Most of the times when I am leaving for an early morning shoot.. you know when you are shooting at these back of beyond places like Malad and Madh island (in Mumbai), I get scared, I’m like Oh my god! I have got to send my son to school and I don’t think I have got time to eat my breakfast. So what I do is put muesli, two three other fresh fruits, yoghurt, coconut milk.. mix it and put it in my car and I eat in the car.
So I would never think about I have not got the time to eat my breakfast and I would skip it.”
She further said that a healthy breakfast leads to a healthy start for the day and one should never skip it. Also, Saffola Multigrain Flakes which comprises of 5 grains keeps you fuller for longer and thus you tend to not binge much on unhealthy snacks.
