All India Radio, Vijayawada got the First Prize in the Category of Special Topic Documentary "BAAPU BATALO" in Telugu for Akashvani Annual Awards 2014.Smt K.Vijaya Kumari, Retd.Sr.Gr. Announcer and Shri B.Jayaprakash Rao. Sr.Gr.Announcer are the Producers of Documentary.
Award ceremony was held at Vighyan Bhavan, New Delhi on 16.06.2017. This award was presented to Smt. K.Vijaya Kumari in the Hands of Hon.Minister of I & B Shri Venkaiah Naidu and Minister of State I & B Shri Rajyavardhan Rathore.
