Log line: It is the heart-warming journey of father and son; the endearing pursuit of a 7-year old boy to find his dead mother, innocently mistaking her to be at God's abode and the tireless plight of his father, a farmer stuck in the vicious circle of drought and debt. With no one else to turn to, they travel to Pandharpur, God’s abode, where each thinks they will find what they seek. But this search tests their harmony, morality, integrity and faith. Will this physical and emotional quest help them find a way to mend their bond? And will the underdog father and son redeem themselves to find a way out of this cycle of misfortune and emerge victorious?

Key Characters:

Arjun Magar (Shashank Shende)

An honest, hardworking person, belonging to a family of farmers, knows no other life. He is simple and straight forward. But luck doesn’t always favour the industrious… and Arjun faces a great deal of misery and misfortune. Shrugging aside all the negative thoughts that cloud his mind, he is willing to fight against all odds for the sake of his son. Through this journey he realises that drought only diminishes hope, but a human not supporting another definitely destroys it. Choosing to live in the shadow of faith, Arjun struggles everyday with a hope for a better tomorrow.

Abhimanyu Magar aka Abdu (Master Sahil Joshi)

Some questions are frustratingly difficult to answer... Abhimanyu has one such question. His mother is in God’s abode; he happens to travel to Pandharpur, a city known as God’s abode, so will he find her there? With this single-minded devotion, no other help and only his instincts to rely on, he crosses many hurdles in the search for his mother. Through his journey, this little boy learns the importance of staying strong and honest, in the darkest of times.
