The Rural Programme Advisory Meeting (RPAC) of All India Radio Thiruvananthapuram was conducted at Malankara Social Service Society Auditorium, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram on 19th July 2017. The meeting was chaired by Shri. R. Vimalasenan Nair, Station Director of AIR Thiruvananthapuram and was inaugurated by Shri. R Hali, Veteran Farm journalist and Former Director of Agriculture with Government of Kerala. The meeting was attended by the representatives of various Government departments including Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Soil Health and Dairy Development as well as various Central and State Organizations like, CPCRI, CTCRI, National Fish Seed Farm, State Medicinal Plants Board etc. Also, the representatives of various NGOs and Farmers' Co-operatives working in the farming and rural development sectors and farmers attended the meeting. The Preview-Review report was presented by Shri. Muraleedharan Thazhakkara, Programme Executive (Farm and Home) of AIR Thiruvananthapuram. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Shri. P M Unnikrishnan Unnithan, Assistant Director (Programme). The evaluation of Farm and Home programmes broadcast in last quarter and the planning for programmes for the coming quarter were done during this meeting.
