It has been opened in February 2016 at Sands®Cotai Central and becomes the first theme park in Macau. Planet J is a legendary world covers an extensive area of around 95,000 sq. ft., with 8 exquisite featured zones and over 200 whimsical game installations. Storyboard:
The people of the Magic Stone Kingdom lived in harmony and peace with the Magic Stone Creatures along with the Dragon Race as their guardians. Few years ago, a mystifying darkness suddenly casted over the kingdom and the Magic Stone Creatures began to lose their minds. They turned against the humans and destructed the Kingdom. The Royal Knights fought bravely to protect the humans, but eventually the Knights became too weary to go on. King Brandon sought the counsel of his wizard and was reminded of the long standing prophecy in the Magic Stone Kingdom – “When the Kingdom encounters catastrophe, the Brave Hero from the Other World will come to save the Kingdom”. The Brave Heroes have been summoned to come assisting the Royal Knights and saving the Kingdom.
GAME FLOW:
There are NO rides inside the Planet J. Our games require intelligence and physical ability. For example, players need to solve riddles in order to open a treasure chest. We aim to cast each player as a key character in their own fantasy adventure. The player will face many challenges and need to overcome them in order to continue the story. Each player is also required to use a small electronic device throughout the whole journey, which gives advice or hints at critical points during the game. Each player will be assigned a different route and have to complete all missions within an hour. Continuation of the last record is possible at the next visit to proceed with the rest of the storyline. The entire episode is expected to take at least 30 hours to finish.
New AR/VR games plus photo booth & daily parade from summer 2017 - A brand new game ''City Gate AR'' presents a 3 meters high dragon in reality by using the Augmented Reality technology. Maximum of 3 adventures will be joined as a team by using the AR goggles and armed weapons to enjoy the game. The adventurers need to co-op with each other to kill the dragon.
