Viu releases the teaser poster of Rana Daggubati's first fiction series, Social

Thriller, suspense and a never-ending hunt are what sums up the much-awaited digital series, 'Social'. The show that has already garnered much traction even before its release, just unveiled the first teaser poster and it looks gripping as ever. 

The poster displays a girl's hand, hand-cuffed by a popular social media sign, giving you a feeling of danger, just as the poster claims- 'A click can destroy your life'. But will social media play a saviour too? The audience will soon find out when the show airs on Viu in mid-September. 

Presented by Rana Daggubati, this first ever social media thriller is India’s first bilingual fiction digital-series starring Naveen Kasturia and Priya Banerjee. Social will be available on Viu in Hindi and Telugu. 'Social', which aims to be an engaging thriller for millennials based on the theme of social media. On the release of the teaser, director Shashi Sudigala stated, "In this day and age where our world revolves around social media, it is important to take a step back and see the consequences of our actions. With the recent news of millennials endangering their lives, with social media playing a catalyst, 'Social’ aims inspire a dialogue among the masses to raise awareness about the issue.”
