It?s time for #YouTubeRewind: Celebrating what you watched, shared, and created in 2017

#YouTubeRewind India is back and we're in love with The Shape of 2017. This year, we fell in love with a 106 year old super chef, laughed at the raw humour of our new comedy kings, relived the golden era of bollywood music through remixes, took the best selfie, learnt the trendiest beauty hacks, watched the most sought after movie trailers and grooved to punjabi beats.

From the fidget spinner becoming so darn popular worldwide, to Despacito becoming a global phenomenon; seeing the other side of Irrfan Khan through memes by AIB, to getting the country to dance on Shape of You, which emerged as the most choreographed song in 2017; getting the funny-bone tickled by Angry Baba's Chacha Ke Patake, to making Jimikki Kammal and Zinggat a national sensation, YouTube has been part of some of the most iconic pop-culture moments of 2017.

In 2017, we saw some major new records being broken in music, most notably by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's massive global hit. "Despacito" sits at the top of 2017's top music video list -- not just as the most-viewed music video for the year, but as the most viewed YouTube video of all time. In India, we saw comedy superstar BB Ki Vines, topping the charts of the Top Creators List 2017, followed by Technical Guruji and Vidya Vox . Support for local creators also grew, with three of this year's top 10 trending videos (non-music) going to our content creators - BB Ki Vines for Group Study, Amit Bhadana for That Dumb Friend in Every Group and Zakir Khan for Life Main Chahiye Izzat!

We're also revealing 2017's top trending videos and top music videos, according to time spent watching, sharing, commenting, liking, and more. Some familiar faces are back (BB Ki Vines, Vidya Vox and AIB) and some incredible talents in choreography, technology, beauty and stand-up comedy join them. This year's list of top trending videos represents the unbelievable diversity of creativity shared on YouTube every day and around the world. They span from much-loved YouTube creators and traditional media formats to new and innovative voices in art and entertainment.
