Dubai based Film Director and Producer duo Japinder Kaur and Tarnpreet Singh make their debut at the Red Carpet of the 71st International Cannes Film Festival with Chopard.
Japinder walked the Red Carpet in a beautiful Royal Blue customized Swarovski studded Cinderella Gown on Day 1 with heart shaped diamonds for the Chinese Film ‘Ash is Purest White’. The look was styled by Dar Sara High Fashion from Dubai and hair and make up by L’Oréal Official at the @festivaldecannes. Her mantra was keeping it elegant and classy.
On second day, Japinder followed one of the most loved recent Red Carpet looks of the studded skin colour dress adorned in many forms by both Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities for the film ‘Se Rokh’. The body hugging gown was completed with Hollywood waves, bold red lips and Solitaire chain earrings and bracelets.
Tarnpreet on the other hand was experimental with his look and represented India in a modern black Sherwani with a diamond brooch. Breaking away from the regular Black Tie look that all men follow on the Red Carpet, his formal traditional black was loved by all.
Day three, is a lovely afternoon look in a Butterfly scalloped dress by Japinder for the private Chopard lunch at the prestigious Martinez Hotel with spectacular views of Cannes.
Talking about the experience in Cannes, Japinder Kaur says, “It was an amazing experience especially because of the electric energy and atmosphere all around the Festival. Buzzing with film talk and fashion, it’s exactly the place to be every year at this time and I hope to see many Indian films come to the festival next year. This year, Manto the film is representing Indian cinema and makes us proud showcasing not just our cinema but also our history and rich literature.”
