Mumbai FC-BKLP to conduct football trials for aspiring kids
Mumbai, December 31: The Brihanmumbai Kreeda Ani Lalitkala Pratishthan (BKLP) in association with Mumbai FC will conduct trials to select trainees, both girls and boys’ for their training academy programme. Mumbai FC will hold trials for young aspiring football players at the Mumbai Football Arena, Andheri Sports Complex from January 3 to 5, 2017.
This first of its kind initiative is to boost girls’ football and create a robust system to improve football from the grassroots in the city. The open trials will be held for girls in the under-12 and under-14 category and for boys in the age category of under-6, under-8, under-10 and under-12 age groups.
The scouts will select 15 girls and five boys from each age category and provide them with free coaching at the upcoming Mumbai Football Academy.

Schedule of the trials:
Jan 3, 4, 5: Girls’ Under-12 & Under-14 (8.30 am to 9.30 am).
Jan 3: Boys’ Under-6 & Under-8 (7.30 am to 8.30 am).
Jan 4: Boys’ Under 10 (7.30 am to 8.30 am).
Jan 5: Boys’ Under-12 (7.30 am to 8:30 am).
