Shri Rajeev Singh, Member(F), Prasar Bharati has assumed the charge of CEO,Prasar Bharati, w.e.f. 6th February 2017.
Shri Rajeev Singh started his career in Govt.by joining the Indian P&T Accounts & Finance Service 1994 batch.Before joining the government service, he worked as an Engineer in private sector in Construction Industry.An Engineer and MBA by qualification, he worked and gained exposure to various facets of finance & general administration and also that of personnel administration in different departments of the Govt and its PSUs. He took absorption in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) with effect from October, 2000. He successfully handled different assignments in BSNL Corporate Office as General Manager & Head of Revenue & Tariff Wing, Budget, Financial Control & Investments Wing, Head of Corporate Finance as well as Head of Resource Generation Wing for capital infusion & network expansion. He gained valuable experience of various aspects of financial management at senior level in Corporate Sector before joining Prasar Bharati Board as Member (Finance).
